Hold up… That’s definitely sugar coating it a bit. Let’s keep going… February 1990: State President F.W. de Klerk announces the beginning of the negotiated transition to end apartheid, the unbanning of the African National Congress, Pan Africanist Congress and Communist Party, the release of Nelson Mandela and other political prisoners, and the end of the state of emergency which has been in place for 10 years.

20 days. I’ve actually gone 20 days since my last post. Sorry all. The site stopped working and well I naturally didn’t have a back up and kind of panicked.

I struggled to find something to write about this time around. Well, not really. There’s loads to write about. But I have standards.

I think it’s time I confess something: I hate writing. Not really sure what Mr. Gould (High School English teacher) was thinking but I think it’s clear that numbers are much more my jam.
