I’m a little behind this week because it’s been incredibly emotional. Truth be told when you’re any shade of brown you think you get used to the injustices.

Living in this part of Cape Town has been a true mind game for me since day one. I found it a bit weird since I didn’t have such a hard time getting around the last time I was here but I just chalked it up to advanced age.

On a personal note, I’ve spent the last 7 days or so learning how to slow down. Coming from NYC, this has actually been harder than learning to look right THEN left before crossing the street.
